WinAvi cant Add Subtitles?

i have been told that i can using VobSub

so i have put the movie and the sbtitles in the same folder with the same name, but than the program crushes

without the program it works

why?!?! and how can i add subtitles?

use another programme,winavi isnt really reliable with vobsub,whereas another like tmpgenc will let you run vobsub in the background and it will put the subs in while its converting-but this way they will be on screen all the time,and not selectable,what you have to do is make dvd compliant mpegs,then author it with ifoedit for quickness,or any programe of your choosing.
