Is it possible? I understand that they can be removed from DVD's. Out here I watch a lot of Dutch TV. They have plenty of films, both English and American in the original (English) language with Dutch subtitles. (Quite funny at times when the film has say some German dialogue, you often get English subtitles overwritten by Dutch subtitles).
I want to transfer these onto DVD's but without the subtitles if possible,![]()

Nope,no way to remove unless they are in the black borders on widescreen.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
You could crop them out but that's not a very good option. If you do you could convert them to widescreen which will maintain the correct aspect ratio, of course your going to be losing the bottom portion of the video.
There's also filters for this but results vary and from the some of the screenshots I have seen I wouldn't be too happy with it. Try a search for delogo. -
Hello,
The coalman has probably the best suggestion. Delogo can remove graphics on video. It will leave it a little blurry depending on how big the graphic is. Also, since subtitles pop up frequently you would have to block out the whole area. So you would have the distortion even when the subtitles aren't present. You could try it but it won't be perfect.

Thanks thecoalman/yoda313. I'll probably have to live with it although I'll give delogo a try. At least the originals won't be damaged so the only thing I'll lose is a bit of time.
