  1. I used avisynth and then virtual dub to create an AVI.

However when I go to convert it to WMV using Windows Media Converter I get the following error: "The input media format is invalid (0xCOODOBB8)"

I normally have no problems when I want to convert AVI to WMV. However this is the first time I have used an AVI I have created in VirtualDub. Has someone else experienced this problem and can offer a solution?

    Thanks in advance!

If you are using WinXP possibly try Windows Movie Maker ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Was it a file you captured using virtualdub ?

Normally if I have any issues with AVIs, I just run them through virtualdub on Direct Stream Copy for both audio and video and so that it basically just rewrites the headers.
    If in doubt, Google it.
