Does anyone happen to know where I could download the sound of a bicycle crashing (just falling to the ground)?

Thanks. Though the crash didn't make much of a bike crash sound. No metal sound; just a body hitting the ground.

  4. Why not just record the sound of a bicycle dropping to the ground. I am serious - that is how they do it for movies - get something like a metal folding chair or a some metal thing and drop it a few times. Have a friend hold a microphone on a boom (or just a pole) and record it. If you have a laptop, then use that or just use a tape recorder.

    Hello,

What about the Tony Hawk video games?? Or maybe some other extreme sport games. I'm sure they have crash sound effects. Somebody might have even posted them on a website. Just a thought.

I've though about that. Problems are:
    - Only lousy computer microphone
    - No portable recording device (laptop, minidisc, mp3, ...)

But one thing just hit me: I could record it with my DV camera and just use the audio. I might give that a try.

I have Dave Mirra BMX. I'll see (listen) if there's any sounds worthwhile.
