    An ATAPI error occurred.
    Disc error.
    < Error No : 51030c00 >

    Please check the ATAPI connection:
    1. Check the ATAPI cable, master/slave order
    2. Insert another disc
    3. Restart the computer/drive.

    can you tell me what it means ?

    Need more information.

    Has it always occured
    What are you doing when it occurs
    Have you made any recorder-related changes (install, rewire, new software, new drivers or firmware).
    What software are you using OR
    Is the drive visible in Explorer.
    Does it do it on CD or DVD, RW or R, All
    Have you followed the suggestions
    1. Check the ATAPI cable, master/slave order
    2. Insert another disc (ESPECAILLY ANOTHER BRAND)
    3. Restart the computer/drive.
