Installing DVD studio Pro

I am in the process of installing my copy of DVD Studio Pro and I had a few questions. What is QTPROMedia? and what is ProAppRuntime? Are these essential files for DVD Studio to run properly?

I would install all parts of DVDSP3. And install QTPRO first!!!! It will make everything install smoothly. Trust me on the QuickTime Pro First!

If DVDSP installs similarly to Final Cut, you see a pointer file to the packages and not the packages themselves. If you're installing pkg by pkg, did you "borrow" DVDSP from a "friend" on the internet?
