    I have a task where I'm to extract movie scenes from DVDs for use in PowerPoint presentations. The movie clips need to be high quality. I'm assuming that I would need the scenes converted to MPEG or AVI in order to import them into PowerPoint. Does anybody recommend a particular software package for doing this?

    extract the chapter with dvddecryper and them convert it with tmpenc
