  1. Is it possible to completly remove a PGC entry from a DVD ?
I'll explain - I have a DVD that has, previous to the PGC for the movie (#2) a #1 PGC with only a logo rotating.

What I want to do is to completly remove this PGC so that I only have one PGC - This means that I will end up with only a PGC (#1) that is the movie. I want to keep everything else from the movie, extras, menus, etc.

This on a already authored movie.
Does anyone know how to do this with any tool ? Like IFOEDIT, PGCEDIT, DVDSHRINK, etc...

I've tryed with DVDSHRINK and others and could not do it.

Please give detailed explanation if possible.

  2. The way I would do it:

    1. Identify the Title and the VTS of the clip you want to remove.
    2. If the clip is in a VTS all by itself then use TitleSetBlanker to blank the complete VTS. It is very fast and very rarely affects the rest of the DVD.
    3. If the clip is in a VTS with some other stuff you want to keep then use VOBBlanker.

Both the above programs have ReadMe files and there are guides for them.

As usual, once one of these programs has done the blanking open the DVD files (still on HD) with IFOEdit and Get VTS Sectors.
Then close IFOEdit and open it again and load the DVD files again.
Play it in IFOEdit to see if it works to your satisfaction.
Another thing you could do is to load it in DVDShrink. This is not for any size reduction purposes but because DVDShrink sometimes refuses to open a DVD that has authoring errors. If it opens OK and it plays OK then you should burn.

    Hope this helps.
    It wasn't me.
