No, it's the leaky patch I put on from earlier when I misread 2.35 psi as 235 psi, as Indo explained in his 5000 post
Use Blue Magic vinyl patch systems, which are normally used for water beds. They are quite durable and guaranteed not to spring a leak. I just wish they had condoms.

Thanks. I thank you, and Dolly thanks you She's still traumatized over the whole geosynchronous orbit thing, with me sucking on her "fill tube" to stay alive. Not much fun for me either - having to take shallow breaths so my chest didn't explode. Almost the worst day I've had this month

    Hello,

Doramius - Your dvd set is already on the way huh? I'm picking mine up at the store on Tuesday, I didn't want to have ANY shipping issues. I want it in my hot little hands when I buy them (please no sexual references to that last sentence, it's a common enough phrase).

I've used them often enough to figure it'll be here either Monday or Tues. (though most likely Monday according to past experience)

    I use:
    DeepDiscountDVD.com
    BestPrices.com
    ColumbiaHouse.com
    Walmart.com

in which I check the prices against each other to see which are the lowest. Once in a while I'll also use:
    Target.com
    FYE.com
    BestBuy.com

but typically they are always higher priced. I only go to them for stock availability if something I want is already sold out or not in stock.

I used DeepDiscountDVD.com this time because it was the cheapest, including the S&H (can't beat free).

    Hello,

Flan - If your referring to the 1024x768 that's the ntsc monitor resolution for pc projections. That's what I'm currently running on my 17inch dell crt monitor .

    Kevin
Makes sense for PAL users, PAL DVD is 720x576, so an anamorphic image would be displayed at 1024x576 on a 1024x768 panel, meaning no vertical resizing is required. (assuming the panel is 1:1 at any rate) wheras anamorphic NTSC DVD would have to resized up from 480 to 576 or to 768 is using an anamorphic lens. make more sense to be 640x480 with a 1:1 panel or 854x480 or even 854x640.

    Hello,

Flan - really? I just let the software do the reconfig. I pop it in and powerdvd shows at full screen at 1024x768. That's all that's important to me when watching dvds on the pc. Actually I watch 99% of my dvds on the regular tv (4:3 unfortuanately ).

It's not such an issue with CRT screens as they are able to change their resolution. but projectors with LCD or DLP are fixed resolution.
again it's not so much an issue if your source is a PC, they tend to have decent resize capability, but doing it inside the projector wouldn't be ideal in my opinion.

When I use my company's projector, it connects to my computer rather than a standalone DVD Player as it gets squashed or odd looking. It comes in clear and fine through the computer. Tad annoying, yes. But I'm starting to phase out the use of the DVD player in my Home Theater System. It's more of a basic back-up. I got a tower next to the TV with an AIW card and it takes the signal and then sends it back to the TV set. I really don't need a television with a tuner on it anymore. Another thing I like is having an RF remote instead of IRDA remotes. i don't have to point it at anything for it to work. However, my wife still does and tells me to get out of the way when she points it to the TV from the kitchen to just listen to another show. She'll tell me the same thing to change the song or a track on a CD. I just laugh.
