    I uploaded an .mov [sorenson/Qdesign] to my website, and have it linked at another site for people to watch.


    Is there anyway for the file to stream instead of downloading in the browser [where the end-user can't play it until the file is completed]?????

    Hrm, are you sure you can't press play (in the browser window) while it's still downloading? I'm almost positive this works, but its been a while since I actually did it.

    Update: I just checked an old webpage of mine, it works for me...

    This obviously isn't the best streaming solution, otherwise no one would buy Quicktime Streaming Server, but it should be fine for just a few people at a time watching your clip.

    By the way, PC users will have to have QT installed in order to watch them in a browser window, otherwise they will just download.
