Hi Folks,
I'm using DVD Workshop 2 to author my DVDs. The input is usually from SVCD files (480x576) that are not DVD compliant. I tried to patch the first header to 352x576... worked fine until recent days but now, every time I import an MPEG file (originally 480) patched to 352, 1/4 right of the picture is missing... it's driving me crazy and I'd be happy if someone has an idea to fix that. I don't want to re-encode the video to DVD compliant. Is there a way to turn off the "convert to disc template" option ?
Meanwhile, I also saw that there is in "Disc template manager" a way to design new templates. Is there a possibility to activate the option of "user-defined frame size (see picture)... perhaps by tweaking the dvdws.ini file or other *.ini file ?
Perhaps in that way, I can force DVDWS to accept my 480x576, without patching, without loosing some image and without re-encoding ?
Thanks a lot,
CJ
