ok every time I try to load an xvid file in tmpgenc, tmpgenc want's to do an inverse telecine. for a while i thought it was the result of a conflict from having installed and removed too many codecs but i just did a fresh install of win2k and xvid is the only codec i installed. i've tried several different files and they are all definitely 23.976fps and i used my vcd ntscfilm template from the project wizard so why does it still want to do an inverse telecine???

  2. when the original tmpeg encoder wouldnt accept my xvid avi as an input
i used tmpegenc 3.0 express to convert avis into svcds and it worked very well

  3. I change the fourCC code that is used from Xvid to Divx. the only reason i did this is because it wouldn't encode DVD mpeg files from an Xvid encoded AVI file.

I did notice that if you change the used codec and the identifiying codec do Divx (sorry if i got that wrong but hope you know what i mean) and encode using TMPGenc 3.0 express the video would be the correct time EG 1hr 45mins but the audio would rise to something stupid like 7hr 30mins
