Hello all,
I have been using an ADVC-100 for a while now but have recently been bugged by a recurrent problem.
I am capturing from a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 digital cable DVR, s-video out to my ADVC-100 firewaire to our laptop and sinputing into WinDV.
I have noticed the problem periodically in the past but didi some captures this weekend and they all have it in places.
It is not always present but is expecially noticable when there is a bright contrasting color on a mainly dark or black screen.
There apear to be vertical lines about 2 or 3 lines wide evenl spaced about every 10-12 lines. The lines are verical and run evenly across the width of the screen. As is said, they are not always visible but are distinct when there is a bright color on a dark screen, especially noticable when panning.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so are you aware of a cause or solution?
Thanks,
Mike
