Sorry if this is a dumb question, since I'm really new at this.
But I read all around the forums and this site and couldn't find answers to what is really the point of authoring vs. reauthoring a backed up DVD?

Authoring is first time creation from a captured source (usually).
Reauthoring is taking a backed up material that had its own menu setup and the user wishes to create their own menus.
KevinDonatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
