While I was conducting my daily foraging through old threads for a real picture of pacmania_2001, I came across this thread. It started out as a discussion of what you would do if you suddenly had an extra $1000 to spend. By the end of the first page the discussion had already deteriorated into a comparison of Nevada brothels, and it just spiraled downward from there.
This is one of my all-time favorite threads here because everyone participated and everyone was sharp that day. Enjoy![]()

P.S.: Anyone see any big differences between the style of this thread and some more recent ones going on right now?

Cap, threads now and replies are all BS (no more than 2-3 words --- yea, I'm guilty too) .... I've been trying to add some decent content and checking out posts in the other forums... .Start locking 'em down if that are BS ones... or just delete 'em

Yea, I know... I'm in a pissy mood.... Been sick for a week... headaches, weakness, just down right miserable. Vacation next week though.... Yee ha...
But, I did notice cap that in the older thread there was a lot of responses back and forth... People stuck around for the next reply and often had to edit their response due to not getting their submit in time before the other guy.
Responses now are brief and often add no value to the thread. (Hey, I'm guilty too) ... But trying to get better .... and be less of a whoremonger and add more value. -
for sure

Cap hasn't learned the value of instant messenger or MIRC.

cap thinks MIRC means "Make It Really Count"
