I have one of the older Pioneer DV-103 superdrive interanl dvd burners. I checked through the forums and found little to no recent info on compatible disc media for these older model burners. What I would like to ask is for anyone that has the same drive to help me out and point me in the right direction on good media. As I understand it I would have to stick to 2x DVD-R(W) in order to get good burning results. Any help with finding current info on acceptable blank media would be appreciated.

I could never get my 103 to burn >1x speed, no matter what media I used (though I didn't try Pioneer media). I'd stick to burning 1x until you've saved enough money to upgrade to a better drive, and swap it.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."
