Hi Guys,
when watching DVD's on my computer the movie has jumps and shows blocks right from the beginning. Same when watching the VOB files which are ripped to my HD but not yet converted to anything.
My problem is - when converting the VOB's to either DIVx, MPEG, AVI or MPEG-2 the same blocks and jumps are in the resulting file. Ultimately I want to create SVCD's.
I assume that somehow my DVD drive can serve up the data fast enough, or I have some other problem with my display.
I am running Windows XP Pro US on an Intel P4 1.7 GHz, 256 MB Rambus, installed ASPI Drivers 4.60 (1021), Smart Ripper 2.39, DivX 4.11 etc. - all the latest and greatest.
Funny enough - it already worked once, I created a SVCD which looks great. But ever since - no luck. I might have installed something which now prevents the DVD to play back correctly.
Any clues ???
Thanks in advance
