HELP apparently broke the rulez

Hey

My post just got locked (DVD Authoring) apperently I broke "warez rulez"(sorry !!!) I'm kind of a newbie so I didn't know I was breaking the rules.
But I still have problem and don't know how to ask for help without breaking the rules.

Help !!

PS I read the Warez rules and don't really know what I did wrong.

Your request was for a downloadable copy of a program with a keygen. Even if you bought the program originally, asking for pirated copy because you didn't back it up is still a breach of the rules.

If your problem is you didn't back up your software, and the company you bought it from is now bust, then you are pretty much SOOL. You might get a little sympathy, but that is the best you can hope for.

I didn't say you asked for it. I said you mentioned it. Quote from this board's AUP:

You can mention "downloading". You can mention a "movie" without mentioning a movie title. Adding the title to your post adds nothing to the technical issue. Don't mention the title and "downloading" in the same post. Also avoid "P2P", "crack", "bootleg", "illegal copy", etc. Use some common sense. The issue here is the legal liability of this site, and we take that very, very seriously

Customise this to suit (strike out anything not applicable):

"I have a MPEG/AVI/WMV file. I wish to convert it to VCD/SVCD/DVD/DivX so I can play it on my PC/MAC/DivX Player/DVD Player. I have tried <insert guide link here> but I'm getting stuck at the point where...."

You should have success with that.
