  1. Does anybody know of a prog or guide on how to do this? I backed up my dvds to divx and xvid when I did not have a dvd burner, but now I have one, (and have snapped the minority report disk and x men wont play) I need to know how to batch convert a couple of 700 divx/xvid files to mpeg 2. Then I can use dvd lab pro to fit them onto a disk. BUT WInAVI loses me a lot of quality. SO how can I either enhance quality with WinAVI or do it another way? Oh and I trye dthe way that uses AVISynth and Virtualdubmod and Tempeng (make a .avs script) and the quality was amazingly poor.
    Thanks

Why not just backup your original dvds using dvdshrink? If the original dvds disintergrated then use the batch mode in tmpgenc, just load up each avi and save project and then add all the projects in the batch encode mode, you will find these options under file in tmpgenc. To get the best quality encodes in tmpgenc look to the left at convert.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
