I use AviSynth to trim and filter the DV files that I get when backing up my VHS collection with an ADVC-100. I've never had any problems with the audio before, but...
Right now I'm working with an 8 hour segment of video which I cut into 4 sections. However, when I view the video through any AviSynth script, any audio after ~40 minutes into the video is blank. This is NOT the case with the source video.
Any attempts to demux after this point (with VirtualDub or by parsing the AviSynth scripts) results in blank audio files.
The source material has audio for the whole 8 hours (when viewed with any media player), but I can't for the life of me get any of it off after the first 40 minutes (all video seems to be fine, however).
Any ideas?
