  1. Yea Conquest !! That avatar is much better

Lost in Translation was the most boring movie I've ever watched in my life.
Amazing. Lost in Translation and Ghost World are
the only true original scripted US films made in the
past 5 years. Everything else was formula or copied
from a foreign film. I loved Lost.

Ok, the other day I watche one of the final Tremors movies, 3 or 4. I swear they were trying to produce bad acting. It was so bad, I really couldn't continue to watch it.

Not that I've seen many, bug I'm surprised no Van Damme or Seagal movies have made the list.

The Haunting (1999 remake) - so bad, I was going to ask for my free passes back...

Armageddon - given to me to watch by a woman who thought it was, literally, the best movie ever. we did not see eye to eye.

Waterworld - save for 4 good moments in the film, it's utter garbage.

The Postman - wow, take out almost all the action from Waterworld, and add in an extra 60 minutes of "character development" that does absolutely nothing but pad the running time. yeah yeah, realllllll good...

I've heard about the Postman. Can't say I've had the honor.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

That's 'cause most of us have the good sense not to even bother seeing those movies to begin with

I was gonna mention Seagul but figured my list was long enough as it was 8)

Caveman isn't Quest For Fire but least it's a cut above When Women Played Ding Dong

Try something like Howard The Duck or Roller Boogie and maybe Caveman won't seem so bad 8)

  11. Now, I liked Daylight. I'm not a stalone fan either.

I think Battleship Earth holds the honor of being
voted the worst ever. Never seen it and never
    want to.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned the Blair Witch
Project - another supposed turkey that I thankfully
    missed

It wasn't bad until the ripoff ending :P That was the second angriest I ever got at a movie ending, right after "It".

Pretty much a tie between "Christiane F" and "The Mosquito Coast"

I'm sure some people liked these but they're the only two movies for which I've ever walked out of a theatre.

I did not even watch it all the way to the end, and a movie had to be bad for me to quit on it. In the 1/2 - 3/4 that I actually watched. Absolutely nothing happened. It was like watching paint dry. How they got all those major stars to sign up for it was beyond me.

There was no script, no acting, no plot, no start, no middle or end. Utter shite.

I thought the mixed media was interesting though.....

And it -did- have an end, they all got killed by the witch! i mean, the titles at the beggining -told- you that the kids were lost and all that was ever found was the video footage. what, did you expect them to all say goodbye or something? :P

I expected more than a stupid sideways camcorder still frame showing a wall ..with screams. Maybe ....showing who killed them instead of letting us guess ....

Ohhhhh, right. Finish the movie in a sequel. Double the profits and all that ...silly me :P

Barbarella was a classic - Jane Fonda, the young Jane Fonda, prancing through the movie in an ultra-skimpy outfit ........mmmmmmm

Man some of ya'll are nuts. Memento? Unbreakable? Those are two of my favorite movies of all time.

I watched Battlefield Earth about 5 times. Its one of those rare movies that is so bad its almost good. This movie probably is the worst of all time.

But my vote goes to Johnny Mnemonic. Horrible acting, a super intelligent dolphin, and ridiculously shortsided thinking in their use of technology. They get all worked up over like 10 megabytes.

Another terrible recent movie is The Company. It really isn't a movie. There literally is no plot, and I can assure you I'm not just missing something. It just shows these people who dance every once in a while...that's it.

After reading through this thread, I don't know whether to light up a cigar & celebrate the colourful diversity of opinion amongst the human race...or kill myself!!!

Personally, I think ALL new releases are dreadful! There's no decent cinema anymore... except maybe in asia...

    Hey !! I liked Memento ...

... and Bandits! Billy-Bob Thornton was HILARIOUS in Bandits. Better than in Bad Santa, which I think will become a seasonal favorite in my household !!

Put me down for Waterworld and Moulen Rouge.
