I thought it would show graphic kill scenes(being that its about a KILLER) but you see little killing but TONS of gay rape. 2 ******* hours of gay rape.

LOL yeah. The whole movie was tense like that, thats why I kept watching, I figured "okay now this should be it for the rape, we will obviously have some killing next", "nope more rape". LOL

I also think that just about any sequel that has replaced most or all the main characters from the original film (save Batman) is an automatic wash-out.

Out of Africa. Maybe I'm alone here as the Academy liked it. I hit FF half way through. Watched it again after the Academy had their say. Hit FF again.

I liked Plan 9 from Outer Space. It was so bad it was funny. A camp classic.

If you are a SciFi fan, you may know about the cable program 'Mystery Science Theatre 3000'. Really bad SciFi movies with on-screen comentary. Best of the worst.

That's the best show out there. I love it and have a ton of shows on tape and the dvd volume 4 box set. Check out THIS off topic thread on MST3K I started the other week. Lots of fun.

I just recently purchased "The Order" on DVD for $5.50. Never having seen the movie before, I thought it was a good deal. That movie is terrible. That is on movie that will definitly collect dust on my shelf.

Yes indeed. Actually I'd use it as a coaster as opposed to putting it on the shelf with all the rest of the DVDs I actually like, but then I wouldn't have bought it in the first place

I hit Blockbuster a lot before buying a movie. I'd rather rent it than pay to own it even if it's almost as cheap just because the movie company that made it gets more royalties for the DVD purchase.

  16. Besides many B-movies (especially from the '50s and '60s...like those movies made before we landed on the moon, when SciFi flicks believed in moon men ) I'd say these mainstream messes were just put together for a quick buck and nothing else -

    Caddyshack II
    Xanadu
    Beyond the Poseidon Adventure
Jaws: The Revenge (just when you thought it couldn't get any worse)
    Exorcist II: The Heretic
    Grease 2
Staying Alive (can't remember if I even sat through the whole thing)

There are many others but these are ones I actually watched and wished I hadn't.

Any film with Hugh Grant make me want to barf constantly throughout the film.

And Rookie, how could you say Xanadu is one of the worse films!!!!!!! Roller Skating Greek Gods and Ollie Newton John, great soundtrack and top dancing from Gene Kelly. Make Zeus strike you down!

Quest for Fire was too but that movie was pretty good. Plus, I've always had a major thing for Rae Dawn Chong

"My Dinner With Andre" was such a movie that only critics would love and normal viewers would choke on.

Agreed. With so many movies with plots that have been done to death it was nice to see a unique story like that.

BTW, Conquest - avatar I was getting sick of looking at that other one
