Intro Trailer Question

Hi all..I am trying to insert a Dolby Trailer before the menu comes up on my DVD. How can I do this? I have DVD Lab and TMPGEnc DVD Author.

In DVD Lab add a new movie. In the connectiosn window, link first play to the new movie, then the new movie to the menu.

I don't know about DVD Lab, but TMPGenc has an option in it where you specify what the player does with the disc first.

You need to ensure that the trailer is the first title, and look around for the option where it says words to the effect of Display Menu Settings, then First Play Action (I think) then Play First Track. Then in the drop down box for After Tracks Have Been Played select Display Menu. I'm doing this from memory so work with me on this one !

What will probably happen is the trailer will play and then the rest of the disc before displaying the menu, which isn't quite what you're after but pretty close. Don't forget you can always press the menu button on your remote to call up the menu at any time if you must get to the menu after the trailer.
