*freeware* DVD author tool for motion buttons and menus?

Is there a decent freeware/shareware DVD authoring tool available that allows for motion-menu's and motion-button's? I know you get what you pay for, and the freeware I have seen all have minimal tools available and no motion. I currently use a version of ULEAD DVD-Workshop which allows 5-second motions. perhaps I should just bite the bullet and upgrade, as I do find the ULEAD easy to use

DVD Lab is cheap but powerful. The non-pro version only allows a single audio track, but that is fine for most. The Pro version (soon to leave beta) will allow multiple VTS's, multiple audio tracks etc.

If you don't need multiple audio tracks, I'd check it out.

I downloaded and tried the DVD-Lab 1.4 files, and tried creating a DVD. Once I got used to it, I liked the way it work and the interface. I created my DVD with motion menus, background image an dmusic, and then went to create the DVD files. The process created the proper VTS_01xxx.vob files for the movie but nothing else - no menus or anything else.

Make sure the buttons on the menu are linked to the movies you created.

DVDAuthorGUI, and I think DVDStyler & GUI for DVDAuthor are all freeware and allow for motion menus. You will most likely have to create the menu with another program, but i think they all now support it. I am certain DVDAuthorGUI does.
