    Hi All!

I've authored a dvd on my HD, but I'd like to change the menu color fonts. Is it possible, after I authored?
    Best regards,
    Joelson.

  2. The menues of a DVD are video files, so it is not possible to change the font without re-authoring.

It's always better to give no answer at all than to give a wrong answer.

If you're using TMPGEnc DVD Author it certainly is possible to change the font color without re-authoring (probably possible to change the font too- but I haven't tried).

You just use a hex-editor to open the VTS_01_0.VOB and change 2 numbers for a single page menu, then save the modified file.

If you're not using TMPGEnc then it's probably just as simple, but I can't help you with any other program.

  4. ok BobK, so if you use for example a font called "Jeepney" in your menu, how would you install that font type into your DVD player? Are the fonts also included in the ifo files? That would go for font colors too, you cant re-color a font if the font isnt there. You are talking about subtitles i think, they are kinda bitmaps where color can be specified in the vts_nnn.ifo files. So follow your own advice and dont give an answer.
