over 2 years and only 50

how lame am i .. i just noticed that ive been a member of this board for over 2 years and i have been actually comming here that long. and i only have 50 posts under my belt.. i know its no big deal but ive learned alot and i have refered lots of people to this forum but it seems that i dont contribute that much to it. i am big time into encoding/converting backing up editing A/V and i feel that im ok at it.. not as good as alot of people here but i can hold my own.

now for my 2c

i look at some of these post and see how nit picky some are regarding quality and speed. i mean i care about that but if its a matter of seconds and a few pixels here or there im not gonna worry. is dvd2one better than dvdsanta etc is good conversation but when it comes down to small macroblocks in dark scenes im not gonna squabble over it. 15 min is 15 min i dont care who you are lol.. i guess i got off an a tangent.. i mentioned that because it seems that some people here will get into flaming or long debates regarding which is better and you should get this amd because its better than intel because of this.. its 90% personal opinion and thats not gonna help imo in some cases anyway, need facts to show. i was reciently going through a post where a person asked which dvd burner was better.. i was reading it laughing because everone said get this dvd burner because its better.. didnt say y other than (they had no problems with it.) no get this burner because look at all these editor and user reviews no RMAs no coasters, etc.. thats the kinda info i would want.. NOW i understand that if you really want the info you do what i do.. do a google on all recomended burners and find reviews and base your purchase on that.. .. im only using that as an example..

Sorry for the rant.. its not my place.. this board is 100% outstanding in the tools/guides sections. top knotch. baldrick did a great job.

now that im off my soap box maybe i can try to contribute a bit more.

50 or 5000, it's good to have people who have something to contribute and make the site better. What's funny about a site like this is, you may not even need to suggest a solution. Sometimes it helps when people ask questions that either no one else has thought to ask, or everyone else has been too shy to ask.

Actually i wasnt worried. and i knew he wasnt a mod. BUT i actually thought he thought i was serious, either that or didnt know what a follicle was. i was going to explain it to him but thought.... nahhh he must be kidding. it turns out i was right. saying that i thought the admin of the site was/is bald to me was funny since i was to lame to actually know what a baldrick was. anyway all these posts fit to my post on the " should OT be closed." if i really didnt like what was said or the reaction,,, i wouldnt start an arguement i would just move on.. this is only a computer screen and not even close to actually having an effect on my daily life
