PowerDirector doesnt detect my Sony DRU510A DVD burner and thus I cant burn a DVD of the .mpg DVD files i've created within PowerDirector.

Anyone know how I can get Powerdirector to recognise my burner or know of any other software that will let me burn DVD compliant .mpg's straight to DVD?

    Thanks

What do you mean "straight to DVD" ?

If you mean as data files, any burning program that recognises your burner will do this.

If you mean as a DVD, Tmpgenc DVD Author will take compliant mpeg files and create a DVD. DVD Lab will, but will probably ask to demux them along the way (no biggie - adds a few minutes is all)

Have you checked to see if there is a patch to recognise your burner ?
