    lets say i got a DVR-108 drive. out of the list above what would you say would be the best discs to get. I know they always suplly great discs but what some ideas of what you guys are using.

    The Pioneer will write to any of those, you should be asking the question "What discs will work in my target device ?"

    A disc is no good if your player (no matter what it is) can't read the disc once it's been recorded. Writing to a disc is only half the story.
