I had a family reunion yesterday so I wasn't online as much as I might have been. And I don't think I'll make a 100 posts today. Though, second place isn't too bad!

Considering that I wasn't racing and still won makes me a bit concerned about the amount of time I've been spending here lately. Seriously. I won't even post a screen grab of the monthly totals. It's embarassing ....

I think I need to reassess how much time is really "needed" for me to effectively contribute to this board, and how much is just "overkill".

No, not a Teegee. I'd never do that. That still bothers me about him ...

I've attacked the new mod job with a certain ...zeal. Sort of making up for lost time all those months that all I could give back to the board was a clever post here and there. Not exactly Albert Schweitzer-esque

I've noticed I've been a bit overenthusiastic and because of the sheer amount of time I've been here, mistakes do happen. I've moved a few threads that shouldn't have been moved, and I've been called on it.

I don't want to be seen as a loose cannon, drunk with power, salivating madly as I laugh maniacally romping through the forum slinging yellows and moving threads wherever.

As far as the "salivating madly, laughing maniacally" thing, I did that before being a mod, so that's not new

I changed to the "Ancient Egyptian" look. Does it work for me?

People usually key on recognizable avatars when skimming. Since BJ_M rudely nicked my avatar, with minor edits, and is now romping madly through the forums, salivating, laughing maniacally ....disguised as me, I thought that since I was going to change my avatar anyways, why not now? It's best to dissociate myself from BJ_M anyways. He's scary ....

If it didn't have the name Cobra, I wouldn't even try to guess what it was. Stick with what you have now, much better.

I was about to say, I'll settle for the bronze, but now that I look out it, Silver is still within reach.

I fell out of the top 5, but still am in the top 10. That has to account for something. A coupn clipping might have more value, but I'm sure my rating has some sort of value in it as well.
