    I have a request, being able to encode video to Ogm would be pretty sweet. Ogm is just like Avi. To play it in qt you need a plugin, Mplayer accepts ogms as well. Also encoding audio to ogg would be cool too.
    I havn't done much research on ogm (Ogg Movie). But I'm sure theres alot written on it somewhere.. Adios

  2. I agree! These codecs are great but I think it would require some colaboration with other members of the open-source community.

  3. Major, I was searching around online and I found OGMTools, a set of Mac OSX ported tools that use mplayer to rip dvd's (and thus could be used to compress many items) and also has a set of tools that would be quite useful in integrating it with ffmpegx.

    Knowing how well you have done with less well packaged tools in the past this could be a great new feature for version 1.0.
