I am encoding from DV/AVI files to burn onto a DVD+R with TMPGENC DVD Author. Since the software seems to accept both elementary and system MPEG2 file types for authoring, I was wondering if there is any speed advantage to encoding/authoring with one over the other?
FYI: I am leaving the audio as MPEG1 layerII using the toolame plugin.
