ok.....i decompressed a rar file and it gave me a .nrg file.
i guess this is a Nero Image File (ISO).
how do i author it to a dvdr?
or how do i get the mpgs out of it?

Use nero or dvddecrypter to burn the image to a dvd...
for extraction, there is a freeware tool that can do that (cant for the life of me remember the name, but check out the tools section) -
Toast 6 supports most Nero images. Make sure you have 6.0.7 because it supports more image times then earlier versions.

I think you can use Gumby to convert the nrg to an iso, in Gumbys binchunker section. You can download Gumby from versiontracker.com or google it.
