    I've been trying to capture straight to mpeg 4 using divx 5.2 but when I try to play the files with mmplayer it locks hard requiring a reset. I used to cap mpeg 4 with all in wonder video card without problems watching with mmplayer. Anyone have the settings for divx pro 5.2? I'm using the portable setting 320x480 12fps. audio 11050 mono. Thanks

    In the past I was capturing to DivX v.5.0 at full DVD resolution. Not anymore with the new versions of DivX. They appear to run much slower than the older versions and drop frames like crazy.
    The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
