I've seen people suspend dual-subwoofers. I guess it allows the bass to flow in the air rather than resonate a physical object. Personally, I'd like it inder the couch so I can feel it in my chest. Especially when watching TOP GUN. When the planes go by on take off or during the fly-by's, I feel it right in the chest. Jurassic Park is great like that. And any movie that's got earthquakes or heavy amounts of explosions.

This is my more recent pics of my bedroom Home Theater setup. The center channel is behind the flat screen and of course I have rear speakers but I just didn't feel that it was necessary to take pics of them as well. After weeks of looking for a good entertainment cabinet, I came across this one and so far it has worked and fit in beautifully. -
Oh it looks like there's something on the flat screens screen but it's in the pic. Not sure what it is but maybe I need to clean my camera lens.

i have a whole house with wireless network G series and also 2.4ghz wireless phones and never had any problems ...
never thought about it till now untill you mentioned it ..
in fact our alarm system i think is also in this range ...
maybe it depends what phone you use ..
i heard microwave ovens are also in this range ..."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

But from your experience it sounds like there must be dedicated channels in that range. Otherwise all your wireless stuff would freak out!
Or you got REALLY LUCKY!

I use 3 2.4ghz wireless phones never had a Problem , we have 3 computer's that use wireless,Only thing that does happen if we get to close to the router we will hear some static.

I checked - they use spread spectrum technology plus channel keying -- you should not have any problems unless they were almost touching ..
