  1. Hi all,
I burned a VCD with Easy CD Creator 5 using all the guides on this site (which are very helpful, thank you). I started with an avi. Created an mpg - VCD (standard) in TMPEGenc. I made sure to select finalize on the burn. When I put it into my DVD/VCD (it says so right on the front!) it trys to load and reads "no Disk". What's up with that! It plays fine with a VCD software player on my computer.
Any ideas would be greatly appareciated!

  2. Maybe your DVD doesn´t play CD-R??
What kind of DVD do you have? Maybe take a look at the
    DVD Player compatibilty list.

  3. Thanks for responding, I appreciate it.

I have a Samsung DVD Player which is supposed to support VCDs. It says it plays VCDs right on the front of the player. That is why this boggles me. Especially since I can launch VCD Player on my computer, click play, and presto it works.

  4. Most DVD are able to play VCD´s. Some DVD Player do not
play CD-R. The VCD that plays on your PC is this a "burned one" or a original?? My first DVD wasn´t able to play CD-R so i looked for a other one.
