There you go, trying to backup a legitimate question with FACTS, rather than slander, innuendo and heresay.

    What is wrong with you?

I'm just waiting to see who will be the first company to create the crystal processor introducing pressured carbon (aka: Cubit Zirconia/Manufactured Diamonds) instead of today's silicon CPUs. Never have to cool the CPU. Once that is finished, they'll be able to transfer the Technology to RAM and video chipsets. At that point we'd be able to run limitless. Not far away from that now.

The real question is what will that processor cost on average after the first 5-10 years being on the market?

Download CPU-Z, that will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about your processors, memory, and system board.

I had a punch, and a ton of discs. Man, that was fun. :P

I used to do that too. Does anybody still use the large floppys any more? Even if for nostalgia purposes. I think my parents have on in a storage closet somewhere. I want to open it up and use the parts for my model train layout.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Not many people have 3.5", 5.25", & the 8" floppy diskette drives and disks to go with them. I also still have the cassette machine for my Commodore VIC20 stashed somewhere. Unfortunately most of it has been pulled apart for pieces in other projects.

Here's a link for information on Floppy disk history

A true Luggable. Yeah, that's right. I had a plasma screen before most of you. :P

At least that's what we called them back then.

I made it a good part of the way through high school with my XT.
256K of RAM and DUAL (YEAH BABY!!!) 5.25 floppies. WordStar was the bomb!
