  1. any ideas when am burning a .img file usin dvd decrypter its kicks me off my adsl connection,i have to un-plug the power from the modem so it resets!!!

    I have - - - latest version of DVD decrypter
    windows xp (with sp2)
    nec dvd +/- 8x writer

    amd 3200xp
    512mb ram
    200gig HD

    Oh and yea get a router instead of a usb modem....
    Mmm could also be a power issue, usb is very hungry and so will burning a disk could be power supply is strugling so usb ports get power shortage...
    Not bothered by small problems...

    Zero issues with SP1 and decrypter here. It may be the writer driver in decrypter, wait for a new version. I recall having huge issues with ripping DVD with a specific ver. of decrypter. It used to stall on every DVD after the first VOB file (only on a LG DVD player, others were OK). Upgrading to the new ver. fixed it instantly. Although decrypter is a great tool it is not perfect yet. Your DVD drive is fairly new so my guess would be a driver bug. Cannot exclude SP2 having issues with decrypter as well. Use a different burning tool (never used it but Imgtools may be a solution).
