I have had a Canon GL2 for a few year now and have shot lots of video and xferred it to my comp for editing. I am having troubles transferring video lately. I use premier pro and it has been giving me errors saying that the time code is lost. This occurs part of the way though batch capture. Im wondering if this expensive almost $2k camera is failing on me.
Anyhelp or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks fior the reply. This problem is making me nervous because I fear that my expensive camera maybe damaged.
I tried WnDVD and Movie Maker and the same thing continue to happen. These programs will capture perhaps 20 to 30 sec of video and the it will stop.
In Premier. WnDVD and Movie Maker, I can still control the camera using the software even after after the "crash" but i cant see any video in the programs. I will watch my camcorders LCD as I press play in Premier but nothing happens with respect to seeing video. Once I reboot the computer, I can see video in Premier and MovieMaker again until the "cannot find time code error" appears again and then once that happens i can no longer see the video in the editing program even if I restart the program. I only gain full functionality after a reboot. I will try the DVIO program next but I'm thinking that it the cameras communication to the computer and not the editing software.
I will mention that I have been using the same camera and Premier Pro to edit video via the same methods for over a year and never had this problem. The only mjor diffence tot the system is that I recently installed SP2.
Thanks in advance,
