Guys, I have a CD-RW disk that was used for a VCD... and my Sony DRU-500A says it's an invalid disk. I have an older computer with and older version of Adaptec DirectCD, and I was able to format it and write MP3 files to it... but when I put it in my newer Sony drive, it still doesn't recognize it as a writable disk. Also, when I put it in my set top player, it doesn't play the MP3 files because it is still being recognized as a VCD. Is there a way to remove whatever is causing it to be recognized as a VCD?

This is probably more related to the drive than the disk... I say this because the older computer with the older version of Adaptec Easy CD Creator can do anything to this disk, but the Sony DRU500A with new version of Adaptec Easy Media Creator can do nothing with the disk except read it after it is wriiten on the other computer. I'll try to find a hardware specific forum for this one.
