  1. Hi,

I bought a music/video on a vcd...I like the music and would like to burn it onto a cd so I can play it in my car. Can anyone tell me how to remove just the audio so I can burn it onto a cd.

    thanks,

    Hello,

    Here you go:

Use isobuster. Open the cd - extract the .dat (extract mpg frames). save as a .mpg (in the mpegav folder).

Use tmpgenc. Open .mpg in file-mpeg tools. Use the demultiplex tab. Open mpg. Double click audio portion. Save the file.

  3. thanks,

I did everything and it ended up saving it as mp2 but when I tried to burn it onto a cd it says it is not in the correct format.

    Hello,
You can use besweet to convert the .mp2 to a wav or mp3 file. Just input the file and select mp2 to wav or mp2 to mp3. Just take a little time to look it over. Also, use the besweet gui.
