  1. Hello I'm trying to convert one movie on two files that has ac3 audio with tmpgenc 3.0 express. When i open the files tmpge sees the audio. Before i start the converion i always look at the preview, and this time it gives me "Invalid sample format (error code 0x80048002)". So using virtualdub i extracted it to wave and opened them as the audio. This time in the preview i see the video but without audio. I have done a movie with the filmmachine but it takes more than twice as long. Please help I really hope there is a way to do it with tmpge. Thanx

  2. I presume you're using "Full Processing Mode" when you extract the .wav? If you don't, it'll simply be a mislabeled .ac3 file. Use VirtualDubMOD, load the AVI and go to Streams->Stream List-> Demux. Save that .ac3 file and encode video only in TMPGEnc to .m2v elementary stream, and put the two (audio and video) together at the authoring stage. That oughta work for you. Unless, of course, the AVI itself is screwed up, a common occurence.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
