  1. I've just got the Panny DMRe55.

Is there a simple way to copy a panny recorded ram disk (using nero) onto a dVD-R, so that it appears to the player as though it has recorded the disk itself (and hence can add more programs, finalise etc)

If this is not possible, I can still use womble to edit the file, and create a dvd afterwards, but would like the previous method as well.

    Thanks

  2. I've tried everything to copy RAMs from a Panasonic to DVD-R, no luck. If you figure it out I would really like to know how you did it.

  3. The problems that do arise from getting a RAM recorded disk to PC for editing and producing a final dvd-r or +r for that matter, (my panny seems to read everything ok, NTSC that is).

I use flexible recording alot, to make sure I do not miss a late running ending. Is it possible that this very option creates files which cannot be imported to TempC Author for instance?

It comes up with a red text message saying Illegal vidoe file.

This only happens sometimes, I then have to re-encode the flipping thing, which is a darn shame.

    Help anyone?

    Hi

I record a lot to Ram on my E50 and then copy it to DVD-R on the PC after editing etc, with no problems. I use TEMPGEnc DVD Author to transfer the Ram files onto Pc and use it to edit, add menus and then for authoring, then i either use it's burning tool (very good) or Nero to burn DVD-Rs.

I use the fexible recording a lot and had problems initially, but have had no problems importing since i changed the VBR, have you tried going to setup/picture and setting the Hybrid VBR Resolution to FIXED, this resolved the issue for me.
