Hi, guys!
That is my first post. So first of all a huge thanks to all videohelp creators, for guides authors, posts authors.
I have no problem till now. All the info i needed i've found on guides, articles, posts. After six months I can make all i need with dvd ( ripping, converting, authoring, etc.) That why i didn't post it in newbie forum.
PROBLEM:
Problem came out when GK was not able to mux avi with ac3 file.
Then i tryed to listen this file with WMP 6.4 as i do usually. But there was an error 0x80004005.
Gspot shows the same.
when i put the VOB in gspot it shows video and audio codecs properly and let me to listen to the audio, but when i demux audio from dvdrip, it shows the error
wmp is no more able to play ac3, i don't know why a week ago it was fine.
gspot says it directshow error.
I'm in deadend. i've no idea how to fight the problem. It is more easier when you starting from null, but when there are 272 codecs installed on pc, and everythng was ok, and now not, i'm not so professional to return somewhere to fix smthg.
Any coments? thanks in advance
p.s. ac3 filter is insalled

first try reinstalling the ac3 codec
Problem came out when GK was not able to mux avi with ac3 file. -
i do made reinstall for some times and nothing.
i use GK to convert dvd to avi with ac3 (using progs as guide says), adding VOBs, just muxing ac3, converting to divx or xvid. And there was the first time when muxing failed. Actually it started, but near the end of process the prog freezes.
But the main problem wmp can't open any ac3 file, nor myself converted, neither demuxed from dvd, and it really was able to do that some time ago
p.s. sorry for my enlish
