I copied the VIDEO_TS folders from the DVD-RWs created by the JVC DR-M10.

If I now want that content to be on a DVD-R, do I have to re-author?
In other words, I want an identical copy of what was on the DVD-RW on a DVD-R. Is it just a simple thing as copying the VIDEO_TS folder to a DVD-R?

I no longer have the original DVD-RWs.

  2. I think if you copy the contents of the ripped VIDEO_TS folder in to a DVD-Video burning application (like Nero) and burn a new DVD, it should work. Maybe try one on a -RW first to make sure.

  3. yes that is all you need to do is create a new dvd-video in nero
and drag the files to the VIDEO_TS folder and burn it

  4. I use DVDDecripter to make BU of my DVD-RWs (until I get a chance to re-author the content). Works great.
