  1. This will sound daft but I have my reason, I have DVD-R I made of from my old videos of a show called 'Game On' I made my own menu for it etc, but have just bought the real series 2 & 3 dvds today and wondered if it at all possible to insert the copyright menus from the series 2 dvd and put them on the start of my homemade series 1 dvd before my homemade menu pops up??? I know what your thinking, WHY? but it would just make it go in synch with the other dvds I bought so they all 'look right' to me ... could anyone tell me if I could so it please???
DVD region settings are a joke, I can't believe how stupid people are falling for it

Is that the Game On with the incredibly hot Samantha Janus ?

I don't understand why you want to make yourself sit through the copyright notices, but anyway...

Without knowing what you have to author with, I think you would need some advanced authoring software like DVD-Lab in order to do this.

Either that or using TMPGEnc DVD Author, put the copyright VOBs in the first track, set your DVD to play first track on insert and set Action after track has been played to Display Main Menu. Import your episodes in and that should work. You would probably have to move any buttons or what-have-you that link to the copyright notice into the overscan (or outside the tv safe) area.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Try my suggestion, then test the output on your PC with PowerDVD or WinDVD or whatever software you have. In theory I think it will work, except you would have to create your menus again.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Well, you never actually bought them in the first place, so...

Anyway, I think you can rip the copyright warnings and such using either DVDDecrypter or Smartripper in stream mode. I've had much better luck doing these type of things with Smartripper. I've actually done the opposite, ripping the bits from the first season retail discs to mysecond, third and so forth, until they're available commercially.
