hey, i have a bunch of videos on my pc that i want to put on to dvd, the only problem is, if i put them through TMPGEnc, it would take too long, so i want to use WinAVI, but, all of the videos use the DivX codec, and ive noticed that WinAVI basically converts the video from exactly what you see, including the DivX logo that comes up in the beginning, is there a way to disable that in WinAVI? or even a way to disably the logo directly through DivX? or is this problem fixed in 5.8? i havent been able to get that version yet

yep, you can disable the logo. launch the divx decoder configuration utility from the start menu under divx and under quality settings choose disable logo.
