  1. I am converting an pal svcd to ntsc mpg2. After i extract the mpg with isobuster (filter m2f2 only) and open this file in tmpgenc, i recieve the unsupported error. i dont have enough space to convert to uncompressed avi. any help would be aprreciated thnx.

    And the Direct Show priority in the Environmental settings is set to be the highest priority?

    I would then suggest seeing AviSynth can open it in TMPGEnc Plus! for you.

    Change TMPGENC versions. Some are screwy. I kept an older version that did not have the Pegasys MPEG decoder because it can be buggy.

    Also, disable ALL UNUSED entries in the environmentals.

  10. This is a new angle which happens in my case. When framserving from VD without subtext filter,Tmpgenc can accepts it. However when I add srt with textsub. its says file unsurpported.

    Maybe the problems lies with the filters rather than the VD or tmpgenc
    which I read in other treads. Maybe some settings or dll file missing etc..
    Any comments?

    When did TMPGEnc start reading mpeg2? No version I've got does, but after installing PowerDVD, it will. There's even a special mpeg2 plugin for tmpgenc...
