I searched past postings and thought that this had been handled before, however, I am still at a loss.

I am currently using Version 1.5.19.59 of TMPGEnc DVD author. I use this software to author dvds created on my Panasonic HS2 dvd recorder. I record and edit the program on the Panasoniic HS2's hard drive. I then transfer the program onto a dvd ram disc. I use the high speed transfer function as not to re-encode.

The Panasonic HS2 is set to variable bit rate. I read a past post wherein the poster recommended constant bit tate. In that situation, TMPGEnc DvD was not accepting his .vro files.

I am confused becuase I have transfered over 50 discs in this manner with no synchronization problems. While if the way to go is constanct bitrate to ensure that there is no sync error, I would still like to transfer about 15 shows already residing on the Panasonic HS2's HD recorded with a varialbe bitrate.

The last 10 discs I authored are all out of synch three quarters into the propgram. I did use TMPGenc DVD to edit out a few errant commercial traces that the Panasonic let slip by--could use of the TMPGenc Dvd edit function introduce a synchronization error?

I have posts where in some people use DVDlab, is there a synchronization issue with this software? Are these the only two authoring software that coordinate with Panasonic created .vro files? I know that Panasonc has the Movie Album software but that does not do menus and the resulting mpg stream lconverts the ac3 to mp2 audio.
