    Greetings from Puerto Vallarta!

This is slightly off topic, but I thought I'd share. One of my favorite uses for my portable mp3 player is to listen to the audio of some DVD's of mine. In some cases, it's almost as good as listening to an audio book! DVD soundtracks are great for long car trips also.

To extract audio from a DVD, I use mac3dec to extract the ac3 audio files as .vob. Then I use bbDEMUX to process the resulting.vob files, eventually ending up with a nice mp3 to listen to on the road.

    Is anybody else doing this?

at times people do take the audio from a movie for some other use. Seems like an interesting idea, like a book on tape or something.
