    i am using dvd2svcd to convert an xvid file to a dvd compliant file. how long does this usually take? the movie is an hour and 20 minutes long.

    On a PII 300Mhz a divx/xvid conversion to DVD takes appromatively 8-9 times the movie length (with Mainconcept) and up to 24hours with tmpgenc with a single pass.
